32 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ARCHITECTURE

As of February 2013, twenty-one of Taif Kingsley's over thirty-two years experience in architecture have been in the United States where he now lives. For some time, he taught Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Drafting at the Southern California Institute of Technology, Anaheim, California. However Taif Kingsley's focus is in Design, Construction Documents Production, and Computer Solid Modeling (3D modeling, rendering and animation) at which he has worked with various architectural firms and institutions, including IPDS Inc. Hawthorn, HNTB Costa Mesa, Anderson Architecture Costa Mesa, Sverdrup Costa Mesa, Carlson Associates Costa Mesa, Universal Studios Hollywood, Wadhwa Associates Houston, Architectural Service Industries Houston, City of Houston, among others. Working privately, Taif Kingsley has produced a myriad of self-initiated designs of residential, commercial, and hospitality prototypes, some of which are displayed on this web site. He also developed alternative building systems with the objective of revolutionizing construction methods, and reducing housing delivery costs.

Taif Kingsley studied Architecture for his bachelors and masters degrees at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, on a Nigeria Army Scholarship. His Doctor of Engineering degree in Architecture came from his studies at TUM, the Technical University of Munich (Technische Universität München), on a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship. Taif researched "Housing In Lagos" under the mentorship of renowned University. Professor Dr.-Ing. Gerd Albers. He concluded this research with the design of a 6400-hectare, 110-neighborhood housing outfit for a virgin, reclaimed area of the Island of Lagos. Thereafter Taif Kingsley underwent a series of apprenticeship in the private practices of various university professors, including Elmer Dittmann, David Aradeon, and Adolf Schröter.
